“Don’t Let NHS Staff Get Thrown Under the Bus” UNISON Launches Dorset Billboard Campaign
Across Dorset this week, striking new bus stop billboards have appeared urging the public to oppose plans to remove over 1,600 NHS staff from direct NHS employment.
The posters launched by UNISON call on residents to sign a petition against the creation of a subsidiary company (SubCo) to run estates, facilities, procurement and sterile services for Dorset NHS Trusts.
“Don’t let NHS staff get thrown under the bus.”
The message is simple: the staff who keep our hospitals running, from cleaners and porters to catering teams and maintenance, deserve to stay part of the NHS family.
