Strike Ballot Launched – Time to Vote Yes!

As the Trusts continue to push forward with their SubCo proposals, UNISON members have shown again and again that we are committed to resisting them.

You’ve made it clear: you want to remain working directly for the NHS. Decisions about your working life should be yours to make — not handed over to a SubCo.

Ballot papers are on their way ✉

Yesterday, official strike ballot papers were posted to your home addresses. Inside is one simple but powerful question:

Are you willing to take strike action?

Vote YES to remain in the NHS.

What you need to do

• Return your ballot paper by post (not internal hospital post) as soon as possible.
• At least 50% of members must return their ballot papers for strike action to be legal.
• We’ll be contacting you next week to check that you’ve received and returned your ballot. Please reply to the text you get on Tuesday to confirm.

This ballot is about showing the Trusts the strength of your voice. Every vote counts. Together we can show them that NHS staff will not be pushed into second-class contracts.
